Coaching
 Warradale Park Tennis Club is
home to Jack Reader, an internationally recognized high performance tennis
coach. Jack founded and has overseen the implementation of a very
successful junior development program at the Club, with some WPTC juniors going
on to compete in Satellite and Challenger tournaments worldwide. At a local
level, WPTC has helped a number of its junior members develop into Senior Division
1 premiership players, some even achieving this whilst they still qualified
to compete under the junior banner.
The development
program is delivered via the WPTC Foundation Tennis Academy, which is run
by accredited coaches with international experience, and offers both
members and non-members the opportunity to fast-track the development of
their games. Programs can be tailored to suit individual needs and range
from starter to high performance skill levels. Coaching can be offered on a
1-to-1 basis or in small groups as required.
As a school holiday special, the Academy is offering
special packages which will run through to the end of January. These
packages are designed for children of all ages to enhance their tennis and
have some holiday fun.
